Delusions- Reaper’s Remorse

One of my favorite Haunts of the season. This is a marvelous immersive, interactive event with great storytelling. Walking up to the Mansion, built in 1875, sets the mood for this haunt taking place in the olden days of the west. The story begins as soon as you enter the manor. We spent some time wandering the halls and rooms of the house to read stories and hear tales of something amiss at this Mansion. I would highly recommend arriving early to the cocktail party, grab a drink and spend some time interacting with the furniture. You never know what you might uncover as to the sinister plot afloat. Once your time is available to ‘enjoy’ a visit with the madame of the house, Esther Phillips, you will receive a communication on your futuristic device. Story is told by various actors along the way and be certain you are part of the story, needing to interact with the haunt throughout. I do not scare easily, so this experiential haunt is more spooky than scary to me, but I think others would say differently. The set, costumes and actors all play into the eerie, mysterious and ghostly ambiance as you move through this creepy house. The additional perks for upgraded VIP tix include an interactive story driven experience that is worth the extra money.
Delusions is always on my have to go to list of Los Angeles haunts and this year was exceptional.
