Trick or TREAT
A big part of Halloween in the United States is trick or treating. We go all out with all kinds of treats to hand out to small little costumed kiddos. There are also a variety of Halloween themed food stuffs. Halloween cereal, Cheetos, bagels, donuts, cookies, etc.
As kids in America it is a custom to go trick or treating and at the end of the night dump out the haul and see what yummy goodies you have vrs the crappy candy. My brother and I would go through the stash and spend the rest of the night negotiating trades.
I spent Halloween night in London one time and we were approached by kids in the streets yelling trick or treat at us. I don’t know if you are supposed to carry treats around with you all night there, but we didn’t have any. So when told them we were all out of candy, they said oh well, you can give us money!
